CITADEL THEATRE 2017-18 SEASON SUMMARY
SCROOGE AND THE GHOSTLY SPIRITS, a world premiere musical by Douglas Post, directed by Scott Phelps. A brand-new holiday musical based on the timeless Charles Dickens' novella that is sure to be a family-friendly event you won't want to miss.
SEX WITH STRANGERS by Laura Eason, directed by Scott Westerman. A two-character drama about lust, love and the complex nature of identity in our digital-dominated era, where the characters must confront the dark side of ambition and the trouble of reinventing oneself when the past is only a click away.
THE EXPLORERS CLUB by Nell Benjamin, directed by Robert D. Estrin. London, 1879. The prestigious Explorers Club is in crisis: their acting president wants to admit a woman, and their bartender is terrible. True, this female candidate is brilliant, beautiful, and has discovered a legendary Lost City, but the decision to let in a woman could shake the very foundation of the British Empire.
