November 19th @ Citadel Theatre – 300 S Waukegan RD, Lake Forest, IL

12 pm – 4 pm

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals start early January in the evenings, 4 nights a week and 1 weekend day for 5 weeks. Location: Lake Forest, IL

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE: February 3 – March 5, 2017 at Citadel Theatre in Lake Forest, IL

SUMMARY: Two-time LeComte du Nuoy Prize Winner Molly Smith Metzler’s keenly-observed comedy about ambition, regret and the choices that shape who we become – Elemeno Pea – was the talk of the Humana Festival when it debuted in 2011.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Simone  Attractive 29 yrs old personal assistant to Michaela. Blends in with the upper class of Martha's Vineyard

Devon 35 year old sister to Simone. Lives in her mothers basement and works in a restaurant. Not impressed with the rich and famous. 

Michaela Late 20's to early 30's. Very attractive. Married into a wealthy family. 

Jos-B late 40s/50s the Hispanic/Latino property caretaker of the Martha Vineyard estate.

Ethan Mid 30's. Attractive and wealthy. 

 

Stipend

PERFORMANE SCHEDULE: March 16 – March 26, 2017

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals will start in February. TBA on weekly schedule.

SUMMARY: Dad tickles ivories in a dive. His daughter dazzles in concert halls. In between them the bittersweet dance of parent and child, present and past, dream and disappointment plays out in the key of life.

Kiddo His daughter. Less upright, more grand. Will be 12, then 16, then 21, then 30

The Accompanist Plays Toady, The Tuner, The Tutor, and Todd. Must be able to play piano.
