Shaya Harris (Laurie)

Shaya Harris  is a 14 year old from Highland Park, and is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Brighton Beach Memoirs. Although this is her first show with the Citadel Theatre, Shaya has been performing for the past 10 years. Her most recent role was Pepper in the Deerfield Family Theater’s production of Annie. Other recent credits include Another Door Theatre Project’s  Pippin (Theo), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), Godspell (George), and the Performer’s School’s Willy Wonka (Veruca Salt). Two of Shaya’s most cherished roles include Pugsley Addams in the The Addams Family and Les in Newsies.  Shaya would like to thank the production staff of Brighton Beach Memoirs for the opportunity to be a part of this outstanding play, as well as the entire cast and her family.
